You are a very brave woman.
Ha ha! Good stuff. Somewhere there is a photo of me wearing a diaper cover/underwear that claimed "Future Miss America"I blame our parents.
obviously, now I love you more.
Is this for National Shirtless Day?
A girl who knows her "fashion style" at an early age. Thanks for sharing - you made me smile.
really, who needs clothes when you have fabulous accessories?
Checkout your "earbobs"...even then you were vintage!
Too funny. You are brave indeed.
Shut UP! You are...er...WERE...too cute for words. Dig those glasses & over-the-top jewelry.Come and say "hello" @ Old Sweetwater Cottage!
Well, if someone googles "Liz in her underwear" this maybe what they find. It's better than some options.
Tears from laughter. You are a super star... always have been, apparently!
Gorgeous dawling... gorgeous!
All the bling was so eye captivating that I "hardly" noticed all the rest of the interesting things in the pic! Ha, you are so funnySuzanne
You are so hysterical.
The best part is how the background make it look like it's a posed, professional portrait. Hysterical!
The glasses are the kicker! This is one priceless photo! I can imagine your senior year of highschool and you know how they always do those cheesy slideshows of you growing up right before graduation? Your parents could use this image for bribery. You're very brave! :)
I knew I could come here and get the laugh that I so needed this morning. That picture is priceless.
You look fabulous dahhhhling!
Who took that photo? Obviously they were quite proud of you and your fashion sense.... *giggles*Snappy Di
You look a little like baby Elton John.:-)
Wow....I mean, just...wow. LOVE those sunglasses! And the look on your face is priceless. It's like, "what? I saw Joan Rivers wearing this just yesterday on Johnny Carson...get over it."
Love it! Hilarious :)
I think it's super cute. And no tears needed!
Oh, Liz, you are very brave!
Tears of... laughter? :) There are pictures of me similar to this when I was small... except I think some of them are way more embarrassing.
So Elton John! LOLYou're a brave, brave woman.
Aw, that's cute! (I think all of us have a picture like that...though mine is from the 1970s with my wicked plaid bell bottom pants my mom made me wear...with side pigtails that have big fat pieces of yarn as the bows. Yes, my parents were cruel)
LOVE it. Mostly love the granny panties mixed with a class by the earrings!
Well, comfort yourself that despite the "outfit" you do seem to have natural poise. Look at the way you are standing. A born gentlewoman.
i didnt know they made baby granny panties.
That is perfect!
That is some kinda fabulous, right there.
hahahah Hilarious!!Your parents sure had a sense of humor! Love it!!
That is just too cute..........and funny! You always come through on the days I really just need to "lighten up a little!"
OH MY GOSH - another thing we have in common. We had the EXACT same childhood :-(
haha...that is great! you really do look like a baby elton john! : )
That photo is awesome. Thanks for posting it!
Wow, I hope your style of panties has changed... for Matt's sake. :)Hilary Y.
Liz as usual you come through to brighten our day!!!! You are wonderful! Jackie
Who needs clothes when you have such great accessories!
You look fab!Sheila from west Michigan
Pearls really do go with everything!Debbie
Oh dear, just fabulous!
This looks like one of those pictures you'd see on the front of a recycled notecard in a quirky little shop in a cigar district. Inside it would say something like, "Liz always appreciated accessories and a nice pair of white briefs. It was the men she could never figure out. Happy Birthday, Trend Setter," or something weird along those lines.
Okay so I read your blog EVERYDAY...but Charlie and I are still laughing at this photo. As parents we can appreciate the utter embarrassment you are feeling and the "awww-isn't-she-too-cute-for-words" pride your parents felt when they took this. Just promise me that when you and Matt have a little girl that you will take a picture of her just like this one and then frame the two photos together... thanks for keeping me laughing on a daily basis! Miss you guys!
OMG! It's Elton John's love child! heehee...really adorable Liz. Even the high rise tidy whities.
or maybe just a giggle :)
He he! I think I have a few similar photos of my daughter. I bet she will love me more when she grows up because of it!
Oh my word, this is priceless. I have to dig around in my archives as I am sure I have scads of similar moments captured by my loving parents.
oh my goodness, you've got guts to put that up even if it is you, hillarious!
My goodness, you certainly are a brave woman! Too cute - it made me smile.
oh my heavens. enough said. :)
Now here we go - this comment was meant for THIS post:You are WORKIN' them jewels and glasses, honey! LOVE 'em! What a fabulous picture. If I was your mother, that would hang, enlarged, on the wall. Aren't you glad I'm not? :) Bo dies that I still have the picture showing her little naked rear end hanging on the wall. Do you think this is why she's so anxious to leave me?!
Brave woman...I'm not that brave :)
That's hysterical. Kind of looks like me in '82...only I was 19. Yikes.
omg - rotflmbo!!! i don't normally comment, i just enjoy the read BUT this is --- W*O*W =) i was having a pretty crappy day and then saw this and laughed so hard i almost peed my pants - THANK YOU!!!!! =)
I'm sorry, but I've been laughing over this picture all weekend. It's just so perfect - the pose, the earrings, the glasses, everything. So hilarious. :)
This post just popped up as a "Other Post You Might Like" under your new post. Of course it caught my eye. Stinking hilarious! Yet another reason why I will always have a camera on hand when I have kiddos. Hope you don't mind, I shared this post on my blog's facebook fan page. :o) Kendra aka "Domestic Princess in Training"
