Did you know you have a self portrait in that middle picture? I opened them separately to gander at your ornaments and there you are in the silver ball ornament on the bottom left! :)
This looks a lot like how Bruiser spent his weekend. He didn't stop at garbage men though. People, other dogs, the random leaf blowing across the porch. Nothing says Christmas at our house like increasing the dog's Valium dose.
"Merry Christmas, don't forget that box!" Too funny.I love all the light in your house.
what breed of dog is miss mabel?
Liz -Buddy my "Wonder" dog is not too much of a barker...but his GINORMOUS Labrador tail...makes my tinsel sail
Your house looks delightful! We got our first snow last night-it is beautiful!
there's nothing like a rabid schnauzer to truly put the holidays in perspective. i've got two. they're vicious.
Sweet Mabel, you have a great christmas tradition. I am sure the garbage men really love you.
Mabel is mostly schnauzer... with a little min pin thrown in. But right now she is in dire need of a haircut. :)
Oh yes, the joy of the vocal schnauzer. Shelby wore a spot down in one of our chairs from her telling off passersby on the street. Which actually can be nice when husband is out of the country, it's dark and someone rings your doorbell at an awful hour.
Oh, and I FOUND THE PICKLE!! Do I get a prize??
Maybe she was wishing the garbage man Merry Christmas.
everything looks so good! Mabel reminds me of Dixie she barks all day long at people going down the road!btw: where did you get your living room rug looking for a similar one!
I thought Mabel was part schnauzer but I would never have guessed min pin too!
Very Merry Christmas!
Carrie, I got the rug at Garden Ridge Pottery. It was the cheapest shag rug I could find, and it's really held up well over the past three years.
Oh Mabel, so protective. :)
Everything looks so beautiful at your home. Our poodles bark at anything that moves outside the windows too! It gives them something to do besides sleep and harrass the cats!!
My chihuahua is the same way. So I found her a little doggie tshirt that is black and says "security" in white letters. Perfect. Mabel needs one too. :)
Love, Love, Love your tree!
Your tree is gorgeous!
I love unicorn ornaments. I have about 5 on my tree (they are from my childhood obsession... ok one I can't let go well into adult hood). ox
love your tree! and how you describe Mabel as "screaming"... my dog is a total screamer too, so absurd and so glad someone else understands!
The top pic is sooo serene!
Oh, I don't know... my cat tearing the ornaments off the tree screams Christmas joy at our house. Or, eating all the fake berries (you know - the painted styrofoam kind) off all the garland going up the stairs. Or, knocking the nuts out of the bowl on the fireplace hearth and using them as toys.Yep, that's Christmas 'round here! LOL
Nothing says Christmas at our house like increasing the dog's Valium dose. Work from home India
Good girl, Mabel! You go!
