Amen and winter - take a hike - blow back up north where you belong or perhaps spend a week in Vancouver - I hear they are longing for a big dose of you. As for me and my house - we're wintered right up and in desperate need of SPRING. Thank you for this opportunity and God Bless Arkansas and Texas with sunshine lollipops and rainbows everywhere.
Ditto!Hope you guys can thaw out soon! It's been a wild winter where you are!
I know how you are feeling. We had snow Friday, it was beautiful. Quite a treat for us S Ga folks, but now it looks like rain again today! We have had weeks of rain, so I guess we could conclude we are no longer in a drought. We have had plenty for all of the spring flowers that I am looking forward to seeing. Jackie
Holy stinkin' moly. I love your blue owl pal. Ditto on kicking winter out of the party.-Cara @ Live the Home Life
I will tell you what I tell my grown children, winter is temporary, spring will come, it's a promise:)LeAnn
For those of us who regularly get snow in April (I'm in Michigan) I have no sympathy for you Southerners! :) My bulbs won't start coming up until after Easter. Living in the northern Midwest definitely teaches patience.Love that owl. :)
Most years I'm happy for winter to stick around for awhile. This year, not so much. It has been a crazy winter for sure. Now I'm definitely ready for Spring!
Oh, yes! We're supposed to get another 6 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow morning.
I concur. Wholeheartedly. *sigh*
Wow, we had flakes ONE MORNING! That's it! My bulbs are all going crazy. I wish we'd have had some. If you're going to have snow at least you have a beautiful day for it. Look at that sunning shining on it! Spring will reach you soon!
We've had such a mild winter here in Oregon, so I'm hoping it just takes it easy over there and spring gets there on the double! Enough is enough, isn't it!? There's always refuge here in Oregon, Liz!!Shauna
Liz -I second that thought!!maybe spring can be bought
I'm really done with Winter. I hear you. Bring Spring on!
I feel the saaaame way!
I agree! We are getting another 8 inches as we speak. :o(
OMG - your little aqua owl has officially stolen my heart! I need one of those. We went antiquing this weekend and everytime my boyfriend spotted an owl he would point it out to me. But they were all drab brown and creepy. Not cute like this little one! Love it!
I think that Winter has just felt so cheated after so many mild years that he's not gonna take it anymore. People in the midwest have been golfing during Jan. Feb. and March for the past 5 years. Winter just ain't taking it no more and has put his foot down on winter golfing.DiThe Blue Ridge Gal
I feel for you having to deal with all that snow! We are back in the 80's here in Southern California.Spring is just around the corner ~ hang in there! Love that owl!!
Thank you for reminding me to enjoy the moment and embrace our summer here in australia! Thanks for your wordsmithing- you always inspire me! michelexx
I'm sorry, I just had to jump in an make a comment. I live in Asheville, NC and this is by far the worst winter ever. So all I can say is ...I'M WITH YA SISTA!!
A (freakin) men!!!....but in all fairness, I can't complain I suppose. I've run away to California where I extended a 3 day trip into a 2 week trip because I had a free place to stay and eat and every day more snow was added back in Ohio. Then again, I have to leave tomorrow and they got even more snow this afternoon apparently. Wishing I could extend my trip into a 3rd week!
AMEN sister!Carrielove the owl btw
i know, right ????In Houston too! I've had to wear my coat this year!
Cute post.Smiles ~ Ramona
