I LOVE that movie! Amuck,Amuck,Amuck! I'm SO GLAD Fall is finally here!
Yay for autumn! Enjoy nesting your Halloween and now I'm off to put Hocus Pocus on my queue at Netflix (probably should just buy that one).
I have actually never seen Hocus Pocus, perhaps I will have to rent it to celebrate the autumn equinox. Maybe I'll even buy a pumpkin today to kick off the fall decorating. It is my favorite season! Have fun pulling out the Halloween decor!
i LOVE me some hocus pocus! i haven't seen it in ages. when we saw it in the theatre, my sister screamed SO loud when the witch popped out from the covers. hilarious!
HA flippin' HA! i HAD to, was compelled to, really, comment at the mention of hocus pocus! watching it the fifteen million times it reruns on tv is a MUST this time of year. if i'm lucky, i turn it on at the precise moment winifred sings "i put a spell on you"! i actually have that version on a halloween mix that i made. it's all i really need.
I agree... I love fall! Yea!
Just had to add a Hocus Pocus story... it had been a few years since I'd seen it when I was babysitting my 9-year-old cousin while my aunt and uncle were out of town for the weekend. He wanted to watch tv, but I was going to poke my eyeballs out if we had to watch one more Disney channel series, cartoon, etc. Being right before Halloween, I noticed Hocus Pocus was on tv, and thought my prayers had been answered! Fun for me, age appropriate for him, right? Wrong. I TOTALLY forgot that the central plot line revolved around a VIRGIN lighting the black flame candle. He was hooked on the movie by the time my radar went off about this issue, so it was too late to change the channel. And sure enough, after about 20 uses of the term, the question came out - "what's a virgin?" So, still love that movie, but fair warning if you haven't seen it for a while and plan to watch it with any kiddos - be prepared for THAT conversation!
