Oooh I love it! My parents still have the rocking chair they got when I was born and I love to sit in it and daydream when I go home for a visit.
There is nothing like a good rocking chair. You and Jane enjoy rocking the troubles away.
I just want to say, hang in there!! My daughter is now 5 months old and she was very high maintenance the first 3 months. I kept looking at my friends wondering how on earth they survived! (She would only sleep on my chest for 3 months - I tried EVERYTHING. Trust me, EVERYTHING). One day, out of nowhere, she slept in her crib for 8 hours. Basically, it gets better, I promise!
If you don't have one, get a baby swing.
Oh that's a good find!
Yes! That looks like a comfy chair!
IF you can find a Glider Rocker they are awesome, also will suggest getting one of those airline pillows for your neck when you rock, TRUST ME you will thank me later.Jane is just beautiful Liz!
That is one retro rocker. I believe it could be the very one I rocked my babies on. You may find Jane may not be the only one who gets rocked to sleep. Watch out mom!
My kids loved their vibrating bouncy seats. Here's a similar product that is available at ToysRUs and BabiesRUs. We went through so many batteries using this... but finally got a good night's sleep. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3310993
Excellent! Sounds like a great idea for fussy baby.
