Success and Cuteness
I walked this morning down by the lake. I didn't stumble once. I did my physical therapy exercises in the living room. I wrote a little. I cleaned a little. I took a picture of Jane. I consider days like this a success. I used to drive myself so hard. I used to lay down at night and think, "You should have gotten so much more accomplished today." But not anymore. My standards are lower. And I'm much happier. Life is sweeter. And the best thing? I'm going slow enough to bask in the cuteness of Miss Jane. That is hands down the best reward of all.
